Olivia Myles

Olivia Myles has often seen her poetry as “background music”. She has been writing poetry since the age of 10 but has never taken it further than sharing it with one to two people at a time. After graduating in 2005 she began taking classes at Tri-C Eastern, studying nothing in particular. She frequented a few open mics at Phoenix Coffee, and decided she may want to take her poetry further. In the summer of 2009 she auditioned for Black Poetic and was later accepted. She is currently the Technical Writer for the group and looks forward to giving and receiving knowledge with her peers.
